Young people are invited to join us in our fully equipped and inspiring art studio in Eccles. During the course, they will produce a unique and personalised art portfolio that demonstrates their artistic practice and research. Each session will be delivered by Hannah, an experienced art tutor and Arts Award Advisor and the classes will be supported by additional trained staff.

To gain their Arts Award Bronze certificate, young people will need to complete the following…

PART A: EXPLORE THE ARTS AS A PARTICIPANT
Creating lots of artwork, recording progress and completing a review in their portfolio.

PART B: EXPLORE THE ARTS AS AN AUDIENCE MEMBER
Create a review of an arts organisation, collect imagery and make artwork based on the experience.

PART C: ARTS INSPIRATION
Conduct simple research into an exciting artist, craftsperson or arts practitioner and create artwork inspired by them.

PART D: SKILLS SHARE

Design and deliver a mini creative lesson to a family member or peer and evaluate the project.

Young people enrolled on this programme will need to show a level of commitment in order to complete the course and gain their Arts Award Bronze certificate. Independent learning and work is advised. There will be elements of written work, and this will be supported by our staff.

Additional seating will be made available in the studio for carers and parents who wish to stay during the lessons.

Please note that you access the main art studio up a flight of stairs. Please get in touch with any other access requirements.

Once you have signed up your young person, they will be added to the register. Please only sign them up if you are certain that they will attend. Spaces are limited and we do not want other young people to miss out! Once on the register, you will be sent a confirmation email and a link to a Google Forms document to complete. You will then be emailed again with instructions nearer to the start time of the course. These emails will come from info@humbugart.com and may end up in your spam folder.
